I want to thank our entire staff  and our wonderful clients for their dedication and hard work as always and especially during the Month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness. Lauritano Appraisal Services will make our largest donation ever for this most worthy cause to the Mercy Medical Center Breast Cancer Fund. We all hope that this donation will in some way help just one person in their battle with this horrible disease.

March 28, 2014 Realty Connect USA with John Fitzgerald, Michael Ardolino, and Karin Caro with guest Appraiser Tom Lauritano talk about the real estate market today and the appraiser's role within.  How do the HVCC and Dodd Frank's recent regulatory changes affect real estate purchases, lending and evaluation?  How important is the analysis of the market on an appraisal report and does that affect the fair market value?  How significant is the relationship between the appraisers and the realtors?  Are a home's attributes valued the same from market to market?  According to the National Association of Realtors, the return on home improvement investments is currently $.40 on every dollar spent.

March 12, 2014 - 31st Annual conference of MBAs 

Tom Lauritano, Sue DeCoteau, Laura Toto and Andrew Hamlin were in Atlantic City this week.   Wholesale, retail, bankers, attorneys, CPA's, appraisers and AMC's were rubbing elbows at the conference this week.  The largest turn out in over 20 years, talk about networking...  We introduced ourselves to almost every vendor and welcomed all attendees.  We anticipate some great new relationships ahead.  I hope you had the chance to come down and visit us.  What a productive and exciting trip!
